The red dot design award is an international product design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. Organized under three main categories: Product Design, Communication Design and Design Concept. Red-Dot is one of the most famous design awards and it is a highly prestigious award.

Additional Notes

Final Verdict

Red-Dot provides a great public relations push and advertisement value for participants. Winning the design award however is very expensive and thus limits the winners to very large brands, big design studios and agencies.
