The award is very very popular in Asia, but less popular in Europe and United States. It is one of the oldest awards and provides a lot of services. Like most other famous awards, the winners fees are quite high which limits the participants to brands and businesses.

Final Verdict

This is a great design competition especially if you are in Asia, the returns on investment would be high but the process takes longer. However, as organized by the Japanese Government, you might expect that the judging would be more transparent and less biased. It is also relatively easier to win than other famous design awards.
